Aware of the overexploitation of natural resources by man and those that are the normal rhythms of nature, and with a view to the sustainable maintenance of these resources for future generations and for the preservation of our Home, Douro Green assumes a position of ecological responsibility in the face of this problem.
In this sense, we are committed to acting, on a daily basis, with the implementation of good environmental practices, as well as the most efficient management of the resources we use. Among these practices are: reducing water and energy consumption, sorting waste, proper management / use of resources, pollution prevention, employee awareness and training, permanent monitoring of work processes - in order to save as many resources as possible and make processes more energy efficient - and also adopting continuous improvement measures, for a more environmentally responsible behavior. At this point, we go further and adopt a careful but assertive discourse, in the sense that the guest also takes care of what he visits and enjoys, whether inside the House or in the surrounding external space.
